Have you configured your system according to Section 2.1.2 of Multiwfn manual? The "ulimit -s unlimited" is particularly important.

I tried to run Multiwfn on Ubuntu 20.04, and found that it crashes soon after reading the .fchk file. I tried .fchk files of various sizes, but none of them seemed to work. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
